Real-life celebrity beach bum Jack Murphy helped mastermind the stealing of the priceless star of India sapphire in the early 1960s from the American Museum of Natural History. The film concentrates on the sociopathic pre-theft activities of Murphy (played by Don Stroud) and his partner in crime Allan Kuhn (excellently impersonated by Robert Conrad). Cult 70s heist film. This betamax release is new and factory sealed with the security tab intact. The clamshell is mint with no fading or wear.
